BirdOperating under the Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship field protocol, Mount Revelstoke National Park has participated in this international monitoring through constant effort bird banding programme since 1993. A five-year trial period will end in 1997 and a complete review of the findings is scheduled for the winter of 1997/98.

Since 1995, feather isotope and blood samples have been gathered for selected species: Yellow Warbler, American Redstart, Song Sparrow and Swainson's Thrush. These samples are under analysis.
