This map shows
all road-killed mountain goat recorded along the Trans-Canada
Highway over a period of 10 years. The records come from B.C.
Ministry of Highways and Parks Canada data bases. Please note
that because of staffing levels, there may be more complete
recording within the National Parks and therefore the numbers
are not strictly comparable. The Canadian Pacific Railway
maintains similar data bases for rail-killed wildlife in this
area.
