FISH

• Fish stocking and distribution data was compiled from Parks Canada and Province of British Columbia records. The Illecillewaet and Beaver River Watersheds have been stocked, with a more intensive effort in the Illecillewaet.
  
  We have the following stocking & distribution maps available online:

  • Brook Trout
  • Bull Trout
  • Cutthroat Trout
  • Rainbow Trout

• Fish DNA work is currently being conducted in the Illecillewaet River Watershed.
   
• Fish radiotracking is being conducted in and adjacent to the Illecillewaet River Watershed.
   
• Fish organochloride and PCB monitoring has been conducted in the Illecillewaet River Watershed and some adjacent waterbodies.
